John 14:6 (NIV)
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In volleyball, you need to know your position. You need to know your role, your assignment, and who you're playing for. Without that clarity, the whole team breaks down.
Jesus didn't leave us guessing about who He is. He said it plainly: I am the way. The truth. The life. Not a way — the way. Not a good teacher or a moral example — the Son of God.
Everything in the Christian life flows from answering this one question: Who is Jesus to you? Not who does your family say He is. Not who your church says He is. Who do YOU say He is?
Jesus, I believe You are the way, the truth, and the life. Help me to know You more — not just know about You. Amen.
I block the lie that Jesus is just one option among many. He is the way, the truth, and the life — and I build my life on Him.
John 1:14 (NIV)
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
In your own words, who is Jesus to you — not just what you've been taught, but what you actually believe?
How does knowing Jesus as "the way, the truth, and the life" change how you live day to day?
