Romans 10:9 (NIV)
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
At some point, faith has to become a decision. Not just something you grew up with, not just something you believe in the back of your mind — a real, personal, definitive choice to follow Jesus.
In volleyball, you can watch from the sideline forever. But at some point, you have to step onto the court. You have to commit. You have to play.
Salvation is the same. It's not complicated. Believe in your heart. Declare with your mouth. That's it. The most important decision you will ever make — and it's available to you right now.
Jesus, I believe You are Lord. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I give You my life. Save me and lead me. Amen.
I block the lie that salvation is complicated or that I have to clean myself up first. Jesus saves me as I am — I just have to say yes.
John 3:16 (NIV)
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Have you made a personal decision to follow Jesus — not just believe about Him, but commit your life to Him?
If you have, what was that moment like? If you haven't, what is holding you back?
