Love

🏐Receive

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV)

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."

🏐Set

Love is not a feeling. It's a decision. A daily, costly, sometimes inconvenient decision to put someone else first.

Paul's description of love in 1 Corinthians 13 is not a poem for weddings — it's a job description for servants. Patient. Kind. Not self-seeking. Not easily angered. Keeps no record of wrongs. That's hard. That's daily. That's the kind of love that changes people.

Jesus didn't just talk about this kind of love. He lived it. He died for it. And He calls you to love the same way — not because it's easy, but because it's the most powerful force in the world.

🏐Attack

Lord, teach me to love the way You love — patient, kind, not self-seeking. Help me to choose love even when it costs me something. Amen.

🏐Block

I block the lie that love is just a feeling. Love is a daily decision — and I choose to love the way Jesus loves, even when it's hard.

🏐Dig

1 John 4:19 (NIV)

"We love because he first loved us."
