Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
Kindness is not weakness. It's not naivety. It's not letting people walk all over you. Kindness is a choice — a deliberate decision to treat people with the same grace God has shown you.
In a world that rewards aggression and self-promotion, kindness is countercultural. It stands out. It disarms people. It opens doors that talent and strategy can't.
Jesus was kind to people who didn't deserve it. The woman caught in adultery. The thief on the cross. The disciples who abandoned Him. He was kind — not because they earned it, but because that's who He is. Be like Him.
Lord, make me genuinely kind — not just polite, but kind from the inside out. Help me to treat people the way You have treated me. Amen.
I block the lie that kindness is weakness. Kindness is the strength of someone who has been shown grace — and I choose to extend it freely.
Proverbs 11:17 (NIV)
"Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves."
