Psalm 23:6 (NIV)
"Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Goodness is not just being nice. It's moral integrity — doing what is right even when it's hard, even when nobody is watching, even when the wrong choice would be easier.
God is good. Not sometimes. Not when things go well. Always. His goodness is not a response to circumstances — it's His nature. And because His Spirit lives in you, goodness is available to you too.
The fruit of goodness shows up in the small moments. The choice you make when no one is watching. The word you say when you could say something worse. The action you take when the right thing costs you something. That's goodness — and it follows you everywhere.
Lord, let Your goodness flow through me. Help me to do what is right — not just what is easy — in every situation today. Amen.
I block the lie that goodness is optional or situational. God's goodness lives in me — and I choose to walk in it in every small moment.
