Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Volleyball cannot be played alone. You need a team. You need people who cover your weaknesses, push you to be better, and celebrate with you when you win. A solo player is just a person standing on a court.
Faith was never meant to be a solo sport either. God designed us for community — for people who will spur us on, hold us accountable, and show up when things get hard.
Isolation is one of the enemy's favorite tools. Don't let him use it on you. Get connected. Stay connected. You need your team.
Lord, thank You for the gift of community. Help me to invest in it, not just consume it. Show me who needs me to show up for them. Amen.
I block the lie that I can do this alone. God designed me for community — and I will pursue it, invest in it, and refuse to isolate.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV)
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up."
How connected are you to a real faith community right now?
Who in your life is spurring you on toward love and good deeds — and who are you doing that for?
