Shut Up and Serve:
Romans Road

7-Day Military Devotional Series

For soldiers, veterans, and everyone called to serve — on the court and on the front lines.

Day 1 of 7

The Reality of Sin

Mission A.M.— Morning Scripture

Romans 3:23 (NIV)

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Briefing

Every soldier knows the mission requires honesty about the enemy — and about yourself. Sin is not just a religious word. It means falling short. Missing the mark. Every one of us has done it. Admitting that is not weakness — it is the first step toward real freedom.

Ops Check— Self-Assessment
1.

Where have I been falling short lately — on the court, at home, in my faith?

2.

Am I being honest with God and myself about my struggles?

3.

What would it look like to stop pretending and start being real?

Deploy— Action Orders

Pray intentionally — confess one specific area where you have fallen short.

Encourage someone today who is struggling with guilt or shame.

Walk in honesty and humility.

Hold the Line

"I am not defined by my failures. I am defined by who God says I am."

After Action Review P.M.— Evening Reflection

Where did I see God today?

Did I live with honesty and humility?

What can I improve tomorrow?
