The Bible is not a history book. It's not a rulebook. It's a living, active word from God that speaks directly into your life — right now, today, in your specific situation.
In volleyball, you study film. You review the playbook. You prepare so that when the moment comes, you know what to do. The Bible is your film. Your playbook. Your preparation for every moment life throws at you.
You can't live on last week's word. You need it fresh — every day. Open it. Read it. Let it cut through the noise and speak.
God, give me a hunger for Your Word. Help me to read it, understand it, and let it change me from the inside out. Amen.
