1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
You have been called. Not maybe. Not if you're good enough. Called. Chosen. Set apart. That's not something you earn — it's something you receive.
Your calling is not just a career or a ministry role. It's a way of living. Declaring the praises of the One who called you out of darkness. In every conversation. Every practice. Every game. Every ordinary Tuesday.
The question is not whether you are called. The question is whether you are living like it. You have been pulled out of darkness and placed in wonderful light. Live like someone who knows that.
Lord, help me to live like someone who has been called. Let my life declare Your praises — not just on Sundays, but in every moment of every day. Amen.
I block the lie that I am not called or chosen. I have been called out of darkness into His wonderful light — and I will live like it.
Romans 8:30 (NIV)
"And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified."
What does it mean to you personally that you are "called" by God?
How would your daily life look different if you lived every moment as someone who has been chosen and set apart?
